Cloud Computing
The term "cloud computing" means being able to create and use computing resources as the need arises, then relinquish them when the need goes away. Very often this cloud infrastructure is run by a third-party on the Internet, and a business would effectively rent computing power and data storage for the lifetime of a particular project. As you pay for only what you use, this can be a very cost effective route for business.
Alternatively, a company might choose to build its own cloud computing infrastructure, either on the Internet or in-house. This can provide a great deal of flexibility to a larger organisation, as it means that computing resources can be issued to individual staff or to departments very rapidly.
Whichever one of these approaches you're considering, Tiger Computing can help you to plan and deliver an efficient way of working with The Cloud.
