Peace of mind that your Linux server is working as hard as it should be for your business.

A single server health check from Tiger Computing covers the following areas:

CPU usage

If server CPU is routinely working overtime we'll let you know. Upgrading your hardware could lead to performance and efficiency benefits for your business.

Process optimisation

We'll check to make sure that your server's resources are being used efficiently. If one process is taking over the server, taking computing power away from other areas, we'll find it and, if possible, tune and optimise it to make your server run faster.

Memory check

Linux servers are usually very memory efficient, but a hard working server can sometimes benefit from more RAM. We'll check and let you know if things can be made snappier.

Network connections

The flow of data from your server to other computers should be fast. We'll identify any bottlenecks and provide suggestions on how to improve them.

Data storage

We'll look at the condition of your hard disks and storage system, to identify possible failures and find out how close they are to capacity. A benchmark test will also be used to identify any performance problems.

Log checks

We'll look through the server logs to see if anything is going wrong behind the scenes and make recommendations on how to fix things. If it is a quick fix, we'll do it there and then.

DNS checks

Name servers can be easy to misconfigure. We'll make sure that your server can talk to the rest of the internet.

Written report

We'll provide you with a concise report of our findings and any recommendations for improvements.
