Tiger Computing Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of quality Linux support and consultancy services in England and Wales, has a vacancy for a support consultant. The successful candidate will possess two essential qualities:
- a passion and enthusiasm for working with Linux
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
You may be just starting out on your Linux career and feel able to grow into this role, or you may be a Linux guru already, able to take on all aspects of this role from day one.
Ultimately, the work is wide-ranging: at one level you would be supporting existing customers, resolving problems and implementing changes on their Linux servers and desktops. At the other end of the scale, you would need to understand complex Linux-based projects, research possible solutions and techniques, and implement the chosen solution with the customer.
The role is based at our offices in the beautiful Wye valley just outside Monmouth, with around 20% of the time being spent on customers' sites. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
Salary: dependent upon experience.
